Women, as a rule, have more hair than their male counterparts and must strive to keep it neat and orderly. Traditional business-appropriate hairstyles include ponytails, braids, chignons and bobs. Ponytails Ponytails come in all shapes and sizes. For a professional look, sleek ponytails are best. High ponytails are very complimentary and are the easiest to do. Low ponytails that are clasped at the neck are very acceptable in professional settings as long as they are tidy and secure.
Source: http://yourbusiness.azcentral.com/hairstyles-business-professional-9961.html

Something that also does some shapeshifting in the video is Cher's hair. We first see her wearing a mane made of newspaper scraps, which turns into a red Grace Coddington-style bouffant and then a blond "Believe"-era wig. "Woman's World," which has already peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart, marks Cher's first non-soundtrack release since 2003. It will serve as the first single from "Closer to the Truth," out Sept.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/20/cher-womans-world-video_n_3785731.html
With high heels, the toes are squashed inside the shoe. The more stiletto-shaped they are, the worse it is. The toes not only get squashed, but they become clawed too. Could regular sex make you RICH? Study finds employees who have sex four times a week get paid more than those who don't The base of the big toe becomes deviated outwards, forming a bunion, while the scanner also shows how these bones can become rotated and dropped. Pea-shaped bones under the base of the big toe called sesamoids get dislodged by the immense pressures put on them. Granted, I don't wear heels every day, but I don't have the foot or back problems that many people complain about (high heel-wearing is linked to spine and podiatric issues), and I've worn tall shoes regularly for a solid 15 years. But I know some women don't feel comfortable in heels, feeling awkward and that it's slightly dangerous feeling like you are constantly going to fall over is not the key to having a fun night. But these women still want to wear them, because they are kind of fun. Or because it's one of those things that men never wear, or because it just looks great with a certain pair of pants or a skirt. To help women who want to wear heels comfortably, classes have sprung up on both coasts. Heel Hop in Los Angeles (see video above) and Nicole Damaris' Stiletto Workout in New York City both provide specific moves to help women build up both their comfort level and their core strength which leads to surety in movement while wearing heels.
Source: http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/natural-beauty-fashion/blogs/a-new-exercise-class-forhigh-heels
Braxton Little, a podiatrist at the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, Calif., told ABC News . It just puts the body in a very unnatural position. PHOTOS: High Heels Gone Wild A first-of-its-kind study published last week in the The Journal of Applied Physiology found that wearing high heelscould lead to permanent damage of the calf muscles by increasing the mechanical strain on the muscles and shortening the muscles fibers, all thanks to the flexed, toes-pointed position of the feet that remains even afteryou kick off those stilettoes. The Australian study looked at nine women, who ranged in age from late teens to early 30s, and had worn high heels for at least 40 hours per week for the past two years. Researchers, as reported in the New York Times , used ultrasound probes, electrodes and motion-capture markers to monitor the women as they walked, barefoot and then in heels, along a 26-foot-long walkway. The findingssuggest that the women in high heels walked with shorter, more forceful strides and engaged their muscles as opposed to their tendons, leaving them vulnerable to injury and prone to muscle fatigue, the Times reported.
Source: webblog href='http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2012/01/high-heels-high-danger/' >http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2012/01/high-heels-high-danger/
I get that. So he tries to give them an action plan thats actually doable. This includes choosing a rubber-soled shoe over leather, because rubber is better able to absorb pressure on nerves in the feet. He suggests shopping for shoes at the end of the day, when your foot is most swollen, rather than in the morning. Liebow, too, has a short list of things you can do to minimise the problems if you insist on wearing high heels. The list includes buying only shoes with good padding at the balls of the foot and a gradual slope, so the force is more evenly distributed over the foot. As for how high you can safely go with heels, Liebow says, theres no height thats good.
Source: http://www.iol.co.za/lifestyle/style/fashion/kick-your-high-heels-to-the-kerb-1.1562862

Impossible dream At first glance, the TV tilt could easily be mistaken for an open invitation for the inveterate haters and bashers out there to make fun of some of these undeserving women and their impossible dream. But, that initial impression is soon banished by our observation that the tilt is sincere about developing its unlikely hopefuls potentialand making them legit contenders for the competitions crownor, at least, as far as their inherent limitations will allow them to prosper and persevere! Thus, the ladies are given tips on how to present themselves at their best in terms of looks, wardrobe and personalityand, slowly but surely, improvements are made on their initially limited capital. The biggest surprise that the TV tilt has offered up thus far is the unexpectedly good showing of some of the girls in the mini-shows that they have been asked to come up with to showcase their performing skills. One would have expected these relatively amateur performers to make major booboos and slip-ups, but their group and individual performances have exceeded those unfairly low expectations. In fact, some of the least likely bets have turned in spirited and savvy portrayals that prove that we really mustnt judge books (and brothers) by their cover! external link Surprises Of course, we know darn well that these least likely surprises dont possess the basic physical beauty that will enable them to actually romp off with the televised beauty pageants title (unless the tilt officially and radically redefines what it means by beauty in the first place). But, its still instructive to note that the ladies have bloomed in the course of the tilts training and weeding-out process, and have thus acquired a sort of added beauty of their own.
Source: http://entertainment.inquirer.net/106511/beauty-redefined-in-unique-tv-tilt
